Record Store Day takes place on April 18, and this year’s RSD lists were just released earlier this week (with the possibility of a few more titles being added along the way). You can look forward to a huge number of exciting releases this year from artists such as Bruce Springsteen, Ethel Cain, Pink Floyd, Madonna, David Bowie, Charli XCX, Black Sabbath, and many, many more.

We’ve gathered everything into a handy overview for you below, so you can get ready for the big day celebrating vinyl. All releases will initially be sold exclusively in our physical store on the day itself. Any RSD overstock will be made available afterward (we don’t yet know the exact date and time for the RSD online sales, so keep an eye on our website and social media as we get closer).

Among this week’s pre-order highlights is a massive box set for Black Sabbath fans - more specifically, a box dedicated to the Sabbath offshoot band Heaven & Hell, featuring Dio, Iommi, Butler & Appice. There’s also a new Madonna release in the Silver Collection series, a range of Alan Parsons Project half-speed masters… and much more!

The ultimate collection of material from Ronnie James Dio’s final chapter alongside Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Vinny Appice.

The short-lived lineup of Sabbath members - now under the moniker Heaven & Hell - reunited in 2007 and went on to deliver a series of outstanding live performances and studio recordings through 2009. The Breaking Out of Heaven box set brings together the band’s only studio album, The Devil You Know (2009), along with two essential live documents: Live From Radio City Music Hall and Neon Nights: 30 Years of Heaven & Hell, the latter recorded at the Wacken Open Air festival just months before Dio’s passing in 2010.

The box set will be available as a 7LP set (with many tracks making their vinyl debut) and as a 4CD/Blu-ray box, with the Blu-ray featuring concert films, band interviews, and more.

Madonna’s masterful 2005 dance-pop album now receives the popular Silver Collection treatment (being released on silver vinyl). This Silver Collection reissue also marks the first vinyl edition of the album featuring the original continuous mix - a version perfectly suited to an album that radiates pure club energy.

Three of The Alan Parsons Project’s biggest albums from the 1980s are set for reissue in luxurious editions on vinyl and CD: The Turn of a Friendly Card (1980), Eye in the Sky (1982), and Ammonia Avenue (1984).

All three albums have been half-speed remastered and will be released on both black vinyl and limited edition clear vinyl. In addition, each album will be available in a deluxe 2LP “CV 45 Audiophile” edition, half-speed mastered at 45 RPM by renowned mastering maestro Miles Showell at Abbey Road Studios.
The CD editions include the remastered albums plus four bonus tracks each.

The release date for the new Gorillaz album had long been set for March 20. Very unusually though, they have moved the date forward to February 27, meaning there’s now only a couple of weeks left before we can fully vibe to 15 brand-new tracks from Damon Albarn and his lineup of guest collaborators.

So far, we’ve had a solid batch of previews from the album. Six tracks have been released, all generating strong buzz, especially the lead single “The Happy Dictator” (featuring Sparks) and the single “Damascus.”

You can still secure a copy of the limited edition orange vinyl with a lenticular cover, which is only available at a few selected retailers worldwide.

An extensive 9LP deluxe box set marking 40 years of the Norwegian black metal legends. The set brings together a selection of the band’s most important albums from their purer black metal era, featuring newly remastered audio and pressed on 180g vinyl.

The box also includes a 48-page book, plus a DVD containing an exclusive career-spanning interview and selected live performances from 1996.
