The Palácio do Correio Velho, in partnership with James Martin's, is pleased to present the Online Solidary Auction 2088, dedicated to the 2024 limited edition of James Martin’s 44-year-old Blended Malt  
The entirety of the amount raised will be donated to the Josafer Cooperage Association, based in Esmoriz.

About Tanoaria Josafer

With over 100 years of history, Tanoaria Josafer is a reference in the sector, producing 6,000 barrels per year and exporting 97% of its production to the whisky market. It is a family business now in its third generation of coopers in practice. Filipe Fernandes, currently at the helm of the factory, was very honoured by this distinction awarded to this art that is on the verge of extinction.

About the Whiskey

This exclusive whiskey No. 001/498 is older than any previous edition, the James Martin's 44 Years Old is an exclusive release from Portugal. Aged in a combination of bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks, this stock was handpicked for bottling by the acclaimed House Master Distiller, Dr. Bill Lumsden.
