Estate & General Goods Online Auction 14th - 18th March
Hayward’s is holding an Estate & General Goods timed online auction this week, starting today, Friday March 14th with the first lots closing at 6:00pm on Tuesday the 18th. Come in for a browse if you’re in town, and check it out on our website where you’ll find photos and descriptions of every lot:
It’s a classic estate and general assortment this week, with everything from antique to as-new and everything in between. There are sewing machines, surfboards, tools and teddy bears, a vintage Beverley drum kit, solid pine dining tables, plastic model kits, jewellery, and lots and lots of greenery - indoor and outdoor plants and seedlings, planters and pots, garden ornaments and a cat metal bird feeder.
Portable audio includes radios, cassette and CD players, portable Walkman style cassette players, retro “Ultimate” portable gramophone, LP records, TVs and DVDs, cine, film and digital cameras, Sony 8mm camcorder and Video Walkman, HO gauge model railway gear, RC vehicles, marbles, cat and other animal figurines, studio pottery, art glass, decorative tiles, Steiff and other teddy bears, assorted rings, wristwatches, costume jewellery, military badges, pocket knives and other small collectables.
In furniture, you’ll find a bent wood fabric upholstered Norwegian swivel lounge chair with foot-stool, divan beds, settees, a black leather lounge suite, , a retro formica top dining suite, mirror-back dressers, chests of drawers and beds, bookcases, tea trolleys, a large metal office cabinet, a deco oak china cabinet, display cabinets & wall units, coffee tables and more.
Wall mirrors, framed prints, barometers, framed and unframed prints, paintings, posters, wall clocks, standard and table lamps, floor rugs, baking ware and other kitchen items, crystal, glass and fine china, kid’s books, local histories, books on art, motor sports, music recording, photography, Disney and other comics, Mad magazines, toys, puzzles and games… there are 677 interesting and useful lots, and you’ll find photos and descriptions of everything on our website, where you can create a wish-list and place your bids. If you’re in town, you can inspect everything in-person here at 5 Carroll Street in Dunedin.
Viewing times for this auction are Saturday March 15th from 9:00am–12:00pm, Monday and Tuesday from 9:00am – 5:00pm with the first lots closing Tuesday the 18th at 6:00pm.
