Within seconds of walking into the dealer hall at Blackpool Magic Convention this year, you were sure to be asked "Have you seen Christian Grace's hat effect?" We fought through the crowd to see this effect that everyone was talking about, and what we saw did not disappoint. 

Christian had us sign a playing card that was then lost in the deck. Then, he took off his hat. He showed it completely empty, before holding it out like he was going to catch something in it. Then with a flick, he turns the hat back to us. Inside, there is suddenly one single playing card. He pulls it from the hat and shows us our signatures emblazoned on it. 

Needless to say we were floored. It was that sudden moment of visual magic that makes butterflies well up in your stomach. Now, we're so proud to help Christian bring Captivate to the world. (How good of a name is that?) 

Captivate comes in two different versions: a face down design if you want to perform signed-card-to-hat and a face up design if you want to reveal a specific card.
