Arrow Films has been given the honor of releasing some comprehensive 25-disc box sets featuring the entire Stranger Things series, packed with loads of great bonus content (available in both 4K and standard Blu-ray versins). Not exactly music news, but simply too big a release to miss. There’s already huge demand for the different versions of the box set.

Among the “real” music news we’ve gathered for you this week, you’ll find a brand-new album from Muse, an anniversary release from Kraftwerk, and new releases from Michael Jackson, Laufey, Jessie Ware, Thundercat, and many more.

In collaboration with Netflix, Arrow Films presents the ultimate package for Stranger Things fans and film and TV enthusiasts in general. They have unveiled a series of exceptional deluxe box sets featuring the complete Stranger Things series.

The box set comes in different versions on 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray, all featuring 25 discs. The most extensive collector’s editions include wraparound box artwork, a Hellfire Club patch, a Hellfire Club d20, 25 art cards, a double-sided Hawkins map, five double-sided posters with artwork by Kyle Lambert, and not least a 148-page art book.

The box sets are slated for release on 27 July, but there is already massive demand, so we recommend ordering ASAP if you want to secure a copy.

Muse have just announced their new album The Wow! Signal, once again proving themselves to be a genre-defying band that transforms the tensions of our society - technology, power, rebellion, and identity - into maximalist, stadium-ready rock.

The 50th anniversary of Kraftwerk’s classic Radio-Activity album is now being celebrated with an exclusive picture disc release and a Blu-ray Audio disc featuring a brand-new Dolby Atmos mix. The Atmos mix has been created by founding member Ralf Hütter together with sound engineer Fritz Hilpert, based on the original 16-track master tapes at their Kling Klang Studio.

Michael: Songs From the Motion Picture is the official companion album to the brand-new biographical film about Michael Jackson. The tracklist features 13 classic Michael Jackson songs, spanning from The Jackson 5 and The Jacksons to Michael Jackson’s solo career.

Out 24 April.

Her career dates back to 2012, but Jessie Ware reinvented herself as a modern disco-pop diva with the album What’s Your Pleasure? in 2020, followed by That! Feels Good! in 2023.

Now she’s ready with the third album following her creative resurgence - one that aims to balance the euphoric, escapist vibe of its predecessors with a more intimate and emotional expression. And the first single, “I Could Get Used to This,” is very promising!

A new deluxe edition of Laufey’s critically acclaimed latest album, A Matter of Time. The deluxe version expands the tracklist with four brand-new songs and features all-new artwork. The 2LP edition is presented on Dreamy Watercolor vinyl.
