Estate & General Goods Online Auction 25th - 29th October
We’ve got a fantastic Estate & General Goods timed online auction for you this week at Hayward’s, starting Friday October 25th with the first lots closing at 6:00pm on Tuesday the 29th. This week you’ll find the usual wide assortment of retro, vintage and more modern items - cane baskets, sewing machines, wool, possum, and other knitting yarn, art and crafting supplies, potted plants and seedlings, shells, hat blocks, bottles of whisky and brandy, fur and faux-fur coats and stoles, plated cutlery, coins, stamps, wristwatches, costume jewellery, Tweety Bird collectables, Teddy bears and other soft toys, die-cast vehicles in original boxes, a limited edition wood-cased Bachmann locomotive and tender, Lego, Meccano and other models and toys, puzzles and games.
There’s an electric bass, acoustic guitar, and a vintage banjo mandolin. Mission hifi speakers, TVs, LP records, 45s, cassettes, CDs and DVDs, National-Panasonic radio-cassette, retro record and magazine racks, wall clocks, mirrors, framed prints, paintings and photographs, metal wall art and porcelain miniatures in wall mount display cases.
White ware includes an F&P top loader, AEG front load washer & dryer pair, and a Samsung French-door fridge-freezer in charcoal brushed metal finish. Sheepskins, cushions, throws and floor rugs, china, glass, crystal and pottery jugs, vases, bowls and decanters, cooking pots and kitchen ware, balance and spring scales, Castrol petrol cans, galvanised watering cans, coal bins, timber trays.
As for furniture, there are cane and fabric tub chairs, leather and fabric covered settees and lounge suites, lots of vintage and contemporary dining and occasional chairs, a large solid pine dining table with 6 matching chairs and other good quality solid timber bed frames, coffee and nesting tables, chests of drawers, entertainment units and bookcases, vintage sideboards and hall tables, display cabinets, office chairs, filing and storage cabinets, wall mount shelves, floor and table lamps.

If you’re in town, you can inspect everything in-person here at 5 Carroll Street in Dunedin. Please note that we are closed for the Labour Day holiday on Monday the 28th, so viewing times for this auction are Saturday October 26th from 9:00am–12:00pm and Tuesday the 29th from 9:00am – 5:00pm with the first lots closing Tuesday at 6:00pm.
