Melbourne Writers Festival has shared a first look at its blockbuster 2025 line-up with news of four international headliners appearing this 8-11 May!

Tickets are now on sale to hear from the bestselling author of  Butter, Asako Yuzuki; award-winning author of Twist, Colum McCann; Yael van der Wouden, whose debut novel The Safekeep has been shortlisted for the 2024 Booker Prize; and Kaliane Bradley, the British-Cambodian novelist behind The Ministry of Time, the book on everyone’s 2024 best-of list.

Announcing The Readings Foundation grant recipients for 2025!

Since 2009, The Readings Foundation has distributed over $2 million to organisations that support the most vulnerable people in our community. This year's recipients include CAN Community Support in Carlton, which we have funded since we began in 2009, alongside Western Chances, Banksia Gardens and The Smith Family, with whom we have maintained an ongoing relationship.
