Our A Day in Carlton celebration is just weeks away, and there's plenty of fun activities taking place for younger readers. Events include the launch of beloved cookbook writer Julia Busuttil Nishimura's debut picture book, a madcap morning with Australia's favourite children's author Andy Griffiths, A special story time with Charles Fuge's Little Wombat, and a lively debate between young adult authors about which genre is better: Fantasy or Contemporary Romance.

Celebrate Halloween In Carlton!

Carlton will come alive with ghosts, ghouls, and plenty of sweet treats this Halloween, with a special Trick or Treat community event for families and children.

Starting at our Kids shop at 4pm and culminating in a special kid-friendly screening of A Nightmare Before Christmas at Cinema Nova, this fabulous event will include range of fun activities – including face painting, balloon makers and roaming entertainers.
