There’s plenty of ear candy for the music connoisseur in this weekend's newsletter. One of the greatest concept albums of the 1970s presented in a large super deluxe box set with 4 CDs, 2 LPs, 1 Blu-ray, a hardcover book and lots of memorabilia. The album is also being reissued separately on clear vinyl with a new Abbey Road half-speed remaster and as a remastered CD with 4 bonus tracks.

Out 17 October.

Back in May, Bryan Ferry’s two solo albums Olympia and As Time Goes By were reissued on coloured vinyl and CD. In about a month, two additional Ferry albums will receive the same treatment: Frantic (2002) will be released on blue vinyl, while Avonmore (2014) will come on red vinyl. Both will also be available on CD, presented in a Japanese-inspired oversized sleeve format.

Stevie Nicks had a lot to prove when she went solo for the first time and recorded Bella Donna. Despite her success with Fleetwood Mac, she hadn't really been given the chance to shine as a songwriter. But with Bella Donna, she did just that.
The album is now set for release as a highly sought-after, numbered Ultradisc One-Step 2LP and SACD from Mobile Fidelity. Pure luxury for the discerning listener.

Another major Mobile Fidelity announcement is Van Halen’s 1982 album, which - like Stevie Nicks’ Bella Donna - will be available as an Ultradisc One-Step 2LP and a SACD. It would be a stretch to call a Van Halen album an overlooked gem (they enjoyed commercial success with most of their work), but Diver Down hasn’t always received the same love as some of the bigger classics in their catalog. This deluxe release aims to change that.

The opening show of the seventh iteration of the Starmus Festival in Bratislava on May 12, 2024, featuring special guest Brian May — soon available on physical formats. It will be released as a limited box set containing 2 CDs, a Blu-ray, a 10" blue vinyl, and a 40-page coffee table photo book. The Blu-ray and 2CDs will also be available separately.

Deluxe edition of Foreigner's biggest album - with 4 CDs + 1 Blu-ray. The set includes newly remastered stereo and ATMOS versions of the original album, along with previously unreleased songs, early and alternative takes, instrumental versions, and live performances.
