We're delighted to share with you some major news updates from the world of Rails of Sheffield! Including a big new addition to our team and some updates from our long awaited new station store too.

RICHARD BRIGHTON JOINS TEAM RAILS!

We are delighted to announce that another industry veteran has joined the Rails Family! You will likely know Richard Brighton, who is coming aboard Team Rails following a lengthy career in the model railway business - primarily with our friends at DCC Concepts.

Richard joins us at what is a time of exciting growth for Rails and will be managing our in-store teams at our Chesterfield Road store and at our upcoming new satellite location in Sheffield Railway Station.

Richard said: "I'm excited to join the amazing team at Rails as their retail offering continues to grow - to work in my home city of Sheffield and be able to spend more time with my family!"

SHEFFIELD STATION SHOP PROGRESSES!

Here's some news many of you have been waiting for! Work began in earnest at our all-new Sheffield Railway Station location yesterday evening as the team began a fresh concrete pour ahead of fitting out the shop.

As we have now received Conditional Approval from Sheffield City Council, we are one step closer to opening and we'll be sharing more project updates with you soon! Stay tuned to our social media and website to stay abreast of the latest developments.
