Announcing website changes

Firstly, Happy New year and welcome to 2025 and I truly hope you had an awesome holiday season (for those lucky enough for a break!

Over the break we have upgraded the bidding experience on our website. We listened to your feedback, and have made changes that we hope are right on the mark (there is always room for improvement, and these changes make the overall experience more intuitive).

In no particular order -

Online Payments

Buyers can now pay online through our secure payment system, hosted by eWay (and used by thousands of Australian online retailers).

Payments and receipts are updated in real time.

Bidding from the catalogue page

Bids can be placed on the catalogue page (rather than having to go into each lot).

You will need to click to confirm, and this stops “accidental” bidding.

Large winning/outbid ribbon

Winning (green) and Outbid (red) ribbons are now live (in real time), and shows you clearly what lots you are winning and have been outbid on.

Real time update of bids

From any of the catalogue pages, you can access you Wishlists and Bids (including Bidding On/Items Won/Items not won).

Items no longer disappear off your Wishlist if you bid.

And this system is now seamless from pre-bidding through to live bidding.

plus lots more minor changes including formatting of catalogue pages, lot selection ribbon etc.
