A recall has been issued for Stanley travel mugs and the CRKT 2495GR Squid knife.
1. Stanley "Switchback" and "Trigger Action" Travel Mugs: The threads on affected lids of the travel mug can shrink when exposed to heat and torque which can cause the lids to unexpectedly detach from the mug during use, posing a risk of burn injury to consumers.
Contact Stanley by telephone at 1- 866-792-5445, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET, Monday through Friday, or online at for a free product replacement lid and instructions on how to dispose of the products to avoid further risk of injury.
2. CRKT 2495GR Squid Knife: The micarta handle has been found to expand differently depending on humidity and temperature, which can interfere with the button lock mechanism. This expansion can prevent the knife from locking securely, creating a potential safety risk.
