What’s Worth It (Or Not)

Every week I share what’s been worth it to me — whether it’s a product I can’t stop talking about, a little moment that hit me hard, or even something that wasn’t worth it (because not everything is). Just real-life stuff I feel like putting out there. Sometimes the team chimes in too.

I’ve been feeling this in my bones lately… how fast time goes.

My oldest son celebrated his 24th birthday — like, how is he 24?!! And my daughter graduated high school this year, which means our last one at home is officially leaving the nest too. 😭 All three of my kids are grown now — full-blown adults. And honestly, I don’t know how we got here.

Here’s the part people don’t always say out loud: it doesn’t get less stressful as they get older. The worries just shift. You’re no longer losing sleep over fevers and tantrums — now it’s jobs, heartbreak, and the weight of the world you can’t protect them from. But it’s also beautiful. Watching them spread their wings, becoming their own people — there’s nothing like it.

If you’re in the thick of the little years, here’s my biggest piece of advice: presence over presents. Be there. Be on the floor. Let the house be messy. Let the to-do list wait. That’s the best gift you can give them. I didn’t always get that right — and it’s one of my biggest regrets.

Soak it in. These days are loud and hard and somehow… gone before you realize they were the good ones. 🥹
